    To help ensure the continued safety and reliability of the municipal gas distribution system, the 2019 project to replace gas main begins late June. This year, we will replace approximately 1,025 metres of steel gas main with new 4” and 2” polyethylene gas main on Norman Rogers Drive from Bath Road to Roden Street. We will also replace gas main on Daly Street from Weller to Drennan.

    Due to a networking issue experienced by Utilities Kingston, customers who receive their utility bills via the Canada Post epost service may experience a delay in receiving their bill. Customers may wish to sign up to view and receive their utility bill online, using the MyUtilities customer portal.

    Utilities Kingston has begun its annual fire hydrant inspection and flow-rating program to help support fire protection. During this work, residents may notice discoloured tap water or reduced water pressure and should be assured the water is still safe. They should run their cold water tap until it is clear.
