Kingston Hydro filed an application (EB-2024-0037) with its regulator, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB), to implement mechanistic adjustments to its distribution rates for rates effective January 1, 2025.  

The OEB issued its final Decision and Rate Order on December 12, 2024. 

As a result, residential customers consuming 750 kWh of electricity per month will see an estimated total monthly bill decrease of $0.18. This amount does not include taxes or the Ontario Electricity Rebate.
