If you’re a residential or small business customer, including residential or small business net metering customers,  who pays Time-of-Use (TOU) electricity prices, you can choose to switch to Tiered prices, or Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) prices. 

If you want to continue paying TOU prices, no action is required. Utilities Kingston's electricity customers, who would like to switch to Tiered or Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) prices, can use the online election form below. Personal information is collected, retained and disclosed in accordance with our privacy policy.

What happens next?

Once you've submitted the form, we will review the information: 

Within 10 business days of receiving your online election form, we will tell you when you can expect to start being billed according to your choice. Or, if your online election form can’t be processed, we will notify you and explain why.

Because a switch in prices can only take effect at the beginning of a billing period, it will take some time between the day you provide your online election form and the day you actually start getting charged according to your choice.
