“I am the owner of one of the condos on Mowat Avenue. Our building lost power on Saturday, December 11 at about 7:20 p.m. due to the high winds. We didn't regain power until about 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, December 12.
I would like to express my appreciation, and that of the other residents of the building, for the very long hours that the Utilities Kingston crews put in to restore power to our building. They worked hard in very windy and less than ideal conditions to replace the main line. Please extend our thanks to them for their patience, good humour and wonderful technical skills."

"I would like to provide some positive feedback on the experience I had today with Utilities Kingston and your service technician Craig. We called Utilities Kingston this morning to report that our hot water tank had malfunctioned and needed to have someone service it. In less than 30 minutes, Craig showed up at our house and was able to quickly identify that the vent motor was the issue and had it replaced.
As a family of five, with two teenage girls, hot water is at a premium for us so I was very impressed with how efficiently this issue was resolved; from the time we made the phone call, to the time we had hot water again, as well as Craig’s professionalism."

My 95-year-old father had just finished mowing his front yard (he loves doing his own yard work) and was sitting on the front step resting with his head in his hands when two of your workers came over to ensure he was ok. I wanted to ensure I recognized them for their thoughtfulness and caring.

"We called early this morning about a downed line into our house that was dangling over the street. The response was immediate. As it turns out, the downed line was a cable line but the service crew immediately fixed the attachment to our house. They were friendly and considerate and, to us, great ambassadors for Utilities. I just wanted to let everyone there know how happy I was with the service I received a couple of weeks ago. On New Years Day, I awoke to find that my pipes had frozen. The technician called back promptly and made suggestions about how I could deal with it myself and not have to call a plumber. I followed his instructions and about six hours later everything was fine. He also mentioned a few things I could do to prevent the pipes freezing again. Thank you for your helpful, prompt and pleasant service
Thank you for the quick action remedying our water supply situation. All the personnel I have dealt with from Hybrid Construction, Utilities Kingston, and Neptune Technology on this matter impressed me with their professionalism and helpfulness. Well done!
I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to comment on the great work your team did repairing a water leak in our front yard. Once digging, workers finished the job quickly and with care to reseed the lawn. They even took a few minutes to answer my children's questions about how things work when they arrived home from school. Thank you.

Last Sunday evening around midnight, a very large limb from our neighbour’s property fell into our backyard and when it did, the hydro wires were taken down as well. Obviously, we lost our power, as did many of the residents around our home. We called in the trouble to Utilities Kingston and within the hour, two Utilities Kingston employees were at our property to investigate. They, in addition to other workers, worked through the night and had our power restored by 6:30 a.m.. We believe most of our neighbours had their power restored around that time as well. We just wanted to let you know how thrilled we were with the response of Utilities Kingston workers. I understand many of them were called in from their vacations. Please pass on our sincere thanks for a great job. We are so lucky to live in such a fantastic city.
I should like to compliment you and your serviceman, Brian (from Loughbrough), for the rapid response to my call on Saturday, Sept 10. Brian did a very thorough job dealing with multiple problems on our water heater and explained all the procedures for me to get the best performance in future.

We lost power during the wind storm we had Oct. 31 night at approximately 3:30 a.m. We just regained our hydro at 5:15 p.m. tonight Nov. 2. I wanted to express my gratitude to Utilities Kingston! It was so helpful and reassuring to have the website with all of the updates and times and what was going on. It really made me feel more safe and reassured.
