Installation allowance
At Utilities Kingston, we offer you an installation allowance to pay for or subsidize the cost of your installation.
Please note that we do not offer an installation allowance for commercial installations. Find more information about our benefits for business owners.

Installation allowances are also available for upgrades to a larger tank or a different type of tank. You may be eligible for an upgrade allowance if your current rental unit has been installed for more than five years. For further details, contact our rentals team.
How it works
Utilities Kingston will pay the installer an allowance on your behalf.
You are responsible for all of the costs of installation beyond this installation allowance. If you are switching water heaters or moving your water heater, it is possible that additional work may be required, such as the installation or replacement of venting, additional piping or an anti-scald device. You are responsible for these costs.
Before installation begins, you should ask your Installer if your water heater installation will cost more than the installation allowance provided by Utilities Kingston.
