Urban Gardening workshop rescheduled due to weather
The much-anticipated Urban Gardening Workshop is just around the corner! Originally set for this Saturday, August 17, we were all looking forward to a day filled with gardening fun and learning at the Water Conservation Garden.
Due to a forecast of rain and potential thunderstorms, we’ve made the decision to reschedule the workshop. We want to ensure that everyone can participate safely and comfortably.
The location remains the same, and we’ll be there in our bright orange uniform t-shirts, ready to guide you through the workshop.
New event details:
Date: August 24
Time: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: 1211 John Counter Blvd, Water Conservation Garden
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. Your support means the world to us, and we’re excited to see you on the new date - it will be worth the wait!
Already registered? Here’s what you need to know!
What to bring:
- Water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat: The workshop will be held outside, so come prepared for the sunshine.
- Your own chair or blanket: Since seating won't be provided, bring something comfortable to sit on.
- An upcycled planter: If you have a small container you'd like to use (no larger than a coffee can), feel free to bring it along.
Parking and arrival:
Free parking is available near the Water Conservation Garden. Once you arrive, head over to the garden area where our team will be ready to greet you and get you started on your urban gardening journey.
We look forward to seeing you on the new date! If you have any questions or need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Conservation@UtilitiesKingston.com.
