Gas rates, and electricity rates and periods for May 1
April 27, 2018The Ontario Energy Board announced that there will be little change to both time-of-use and tiered Regulated Price Plan electricity prices on May 1. Additionally, there will be no adjustments to the current Utilities Kingston gas rates at this time.

Cross bores: call before clearing a sewer line
February 17, 2017Natural gas lines can sometimes intersect with sewer lines beyond the outside wall of your home or building, which is known as a cross bore. In these cases, clearing a blocked sewer line with motorized or water jetting equipment could damage the natural gas line and lead to a gas leak, creating an immediate safety risk for you and others.
