Utilities Kingston is conducting water system testing on Wednesday, June 14, which may affect pressure and flow of the water supply between 9 AM and 3 PM. Crews will monitor the system and respond to issues as needed. 

The tests are being conducted to confirm how system changes affect water pressure. Crews will flow fire hydrants, and this could result in discoloured tap water. Residents are assured, the water is still safe. We suggest running your cold water tap until it clears. 

The following areas may be affected: 

• North of John Counter Boulevard to the 401 
• From Little Cataraqui Creek, east to Montreal Street
