Utilities Kingston is updating its website encryption security in order to protect your personal information. 

In the last few years, security and encryption standards have become much more stringent due to the increase and severity of cyber attacks. To minimize this risk, we are upgrading our encryption protocols for evolving standards.

Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2 is the recommended encryption method to be used. In addition, we will drop support for TLS version 1.1 or older due to security concerns with those versions.

Most visitors to our website will not notice the security upgrade. People who are using outdated browsers (more than three years old) may not be able to access UtilitiesKingston.com, KingstonHydro.com or my.UtilitiesKingston.com after the upgrade. 

To remedy this problem, update your browser or use another device or computer with a more modern browser.
