Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity, transportation & storage, and cap & trade effective February 1, 2018.

Effective February 1, 2018:

• The commodity price for natural gas will decrease by -0.0277 $/m³ to 0.1478 $/m³
• The transportation & storage price for natural gas will increase by 0.0131 $/m³ to 0.0987 $/m³
• The cap and trade price will increase by 0.0024 $/m³ to 0.0374 $/m³

The overall effect of the price changes will decrease a typical residential bill (2300m³ annually) by an estimated -$28.06 annually.

The next quarterly review of these rate components will be for May 1, 2018 implementation.
