July 31, 2017Starting July 31, 2017 our public entrances at 85 Lappan’s Lane will be temporarily affected due to construction. Weather permitting, this work should be complete by September 18. During this time, a contractor will reseal the concrete around the building.

July 12, 2017Utilities Kingston tests the water in Kingston homes and businesses for lead every six months and is currently seeking 20 qualified property owners interested in participating in the regular, voluntary Community Lead Testing Program.

Customer satisfaction survey results
July 10, 2017Survey says: 92 per cent of surveyed Utilities Kingston customers say they are satisfied with the electrical services they receive from us. We received an ‘A’ on a report card used to grade utility companies across the province, consistent with the first time this survey was conducted in 2014.

Annual fire hydrants inspection and rating to support fire protection
April 26, 2017Starting May 1, Utilities Kingston begins its annual fire hydrant inspection and flow-rating program to help support fire protection. Residents may notice discoloured tap water or reduced water pressure. They are assured the water is still safe and should run their cold water tap until it is clear.
