COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program applications are now closed
Utilities Kingston is no longer accepting applications for natural gas and electricity funding for the COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) and CEAP-Small Business (SB). The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has advised that the Ministry of Energy confirmed no additional funding would be provided for CEAP or CEAP-SB.
Since the program was launched in the summer of 2020, Utilities Kingston has worked with the OEB to provide assistance to local residential, small business and charitable organization natural gas and electricity customers. We are glad to support our customers during this difficult time, getting these funds into the hands of the people in our community who need them most.
If you are concerned about paying your bill, please contact us to extend payment arrangements. For urgent issues, please call us at 613-546-1181, ext. 2278, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Alternatively, contact our credit department using our online payment assistance form. A member of our team will review your request and respond by email or phone call, as quickly as possible.
