Aging water infrastructure in this area has reached the end of its service life.  Kingscourt Ave, Hillcrest Ave, Seventh Ave, and Duff Street will have the local water distribution system replaced as part of this project.  The project will include limited sidewalk and curb repairs / replacement, as well as surface paving.

Approval for the water work will be authorized under Utilities Kingston's Drinking Water Work Permit. The project is Exempt under the Class Environmental Assessment Act.
