Utilities Kingston joins the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) in recognizing Canadian Natural Gas Utility Workers’ Day on October 10. Today is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the people of natural gas utilities in Canada.  

CGA first declared Natural Gas Utility Workers’ Day in 2020. October 10 marks the final weld on the cross-Canada natural gas mainline infrastructure system in 1957. The mainline system connects western Canadian energy supplies to eastern markets, serving millions of consumers.  

On this day, we commemorate the important role of natural gas utility workers in supporting communities across the country with the safe and efficient delivery of affordable and reliable natural gas. Join us in thanking them for all they do!
