Annual Reports on Water Quality and Wastewater Compliance

Utilities Kingston has released the 2025 annual reports on drinking water quality and wastewater treatment. These reports provide a transparent look at how our dedicated teams work to deliver clean, safe drinking water and responsibly manage and treat wastewater to protect public health and the environment.

Every day, our teams work to ensure high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds Ontario’s strict health-based safety standards. Our drinking water systems use a series of filtration, treatment, monitoring, and backup systems to provide reliable, safe tap water to homes and businesses across Kingston’s urban area. We also operate the Sydenham Drinking Water System in South Frontenac Township.

At the same time, our wastewater treatment teams work diligently to safeguard local waterways, using advanced biological, chemical, and physical processes at our modern treatment facilities to remove pollutants before safely returning treated, resource-quality water to the environment.

We invite you to explore the reports and learn more about how we’re protecting Kingston Area water resources now and for the future.
