What's next?

Security deposits:

Residential accounts are required to provide a security deposit. Your deposit will commence on your first bill. 

Receiving your utility bill:

Your first bill will be mailed to you. You can decide how to receive subsequent bills: 1) sign up for MyUtilities and paperless eBilling at my.utilitieskingston.com. All you need is your account number and the amount of the first payment you made to us; or 2) do nothing to continue with traditional mail.

Equal payment plan (EPP):

Interested in setting up an equal payment plan? To help ensure the most accurate estimated monthly billing amount possible, we encourage customers to have 12 months of history with the account. To get set up or learn more, contact customer service at 613-546-0000.

Pre-authorized payments (PAP):

Once you sign up for pre-authorized payments with Utilities Kingston, your account will be debited on the date and for the amount detailed on your utility bill. To sign up, just download, complete and submit the PAP form.

Ontario Electricity Support Program:

The Ontario Electricity Support Program helps reduce electricity bills for low-income households with a monthly on-bill credit. Find out if you are eligible and how to apply at OntarioElectricitySupport.ca or call 1-855-831-8151 (toll-free within Ontario).
