We continue to experience frequent and wide spread power outages due to tree branches coming down on power lines. The situation is changing quickly and unfortunately we are not able to provide estimated times to restore power.

If you see a downed power line or tree branch that has fallen on a power line, always assume it's energized and dangerous. Stay away and report it immediately by calling 613-546-1181. This line is answered 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

Please continue to report all power outages, downed trees and wires, and other emergencies in the Kingston Hydro electricity distribution area to 613-546-1181. Operators will prioritize the calls as appropriate. This is also the number to report water and sewer issues for all of Kingston and gas leaks in Central Kingston. Help keep the phone lines open by calling only to report outages and emergencies (we can’t tell you when the power will be restored, sorry).
