Kingston Hydro customers in the areas listed below will experience a power outage of about six hours starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15.  If weather conditions or other factors prevent work from being conducted on Thursday, the power outage would then take place on Friday, Aug. 16 instead.

Customers in the following areas will be affected:

• Robert Wallace Drive between Miles Avenue and Strachan Avenue
• Casterton Avenue between Holland Crescent and Dedrick Drive
• Dedrick Drive
• Mulcaster Street between Casterton Avenue and Norman Rogers Drive
• Norman Rogers Drive between Mulcaster Street and Roden Street
• Glenwood Court

This power outage is necessary to allow Utilities Kingston, working on behalf of electrical distributor Kingston Hydro, to complete improvements to the overhead electric infrastructure on Portsmouth Avenue between Miles Avenue and Strachan Avenue.
