Planned power outage set for Williamsville and Kingscourt

Utilities Kingston electricity customers in the Williamsville and Kingscourt areas listed below will be affected by a planned power outage on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Customers in these areas will experience two separate 15-minute outages, the first at 5 AM with the second at 7 AM.

  • Connaught Street
  • First Avenue between MacDonnell and Nelson
  • Concession Street between MacDonnell and Fergus
  • Victoria Street between Concession and Princess
  • Nelson Street between Concession and Princess

Customers in these areas will experience a two-hour outage starting at 5 AM.

  • Princess Street between Victoria and Chatham

This power outage is necessary to allow workers to install new underground electrical distribution equipment on behalf of your electricity distributor, Kingston Hydro Corporation.
