Effective November 1, 2011, the commodity price for natural gas will decrease $0.0133 per cubic metre to $0.2243 per cubic metre. The effect of this price change will decrease a typical residential bill (3100 cubic metres annually) by an estimated $41 annually.

Also, affecting electricity customers for Kingston Hydro, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) has reviewed electricity Regulated Price Plan (RPP) commodity prices and there will be an increase to these prices effective November 01, 2011.
