Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity and transportation and storage effective August 1, 2022.

Effective on this date:

• The commodity price for natural gas will increase by $0.0281 $/m³ to $0.2259 $/m³, and
• The transportation and storage price for natural gas will increase by $0.0276 $/m³ to $0.0731 $/m³.

The overall effect of the price changes will increase a typical residential bill (2300 m³ annually) by an estimated $124.29 annually. The next quarterly review of these rate components will be for November 1, 2022 implementation.
