Natural gas rate review, effective Feb. 1

Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity and transportation and storage, effective Feb. 1, 2021:
- The commodity price for natural gas will decrease by -$0.0093 to $0.1363 $/m3, and
- The transportation and storage price for natural gas will remain at $0.0512 $/m3
The overall effect of the price changes will decrease a typical residential bill (2300 m3 annually) by an estimated -$21.39 annually.
The next quarterly review of these rate components will be for May. 1, 2021 implementation.
