Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity and transportation and storage effective February 1, 2024.

Effective on this date:

• The commodity price for natural gas will decrease by -$0.0138 $/m³ to $0.1770 $/m³, and
• The transportation and storage price for natural gas will remain at $0.0788 $/m³.

The overall effect of the price changes will decrease a typical residential bill (2300m³ annually) by an estimated -$31.74 annually. The next quarterly review of these rate components will be on May 1, 2024, implementation.
