Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity and transportation and storage effective November 1, 2023.

Effective on this date:

• The commodity price for natural gas will decrease by -$0.0351 $/m³ to $0.1908 $/m³, and
• The transportation and storage price for natural gas will increase by $0.0057 $/m³ to $0.0788 $/m³.

The overall effect of the price changes will decrease a typical residential bill (2,300 m³ annually) by an estimated -$67.62 annually. The next quarterly review of these rate components will be for February 1, 2024 implementation.
