Natural gas rates are changing

Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity, transportation, and storage effective November 1, 2016.
Effective November 1, 2016:
- there will be no adjustment to the current commodity price for natural gas, and
- the transportation and storage price for natural gas will increase $0.0061 per cubic metre from $0.1156 per cubic metre to $0.1217 per cubic metre
The overall effect of this price change will increase a typical residential bill (2300 cubic metres annually) by an estimated $14.03 annually. The new natural gas rate schedule effective November 1,
