Join Us: Free Water Wise Gardening Workshop May 8

Join Utilities Kingston on Wednesday, May 8 at a free water wise gardening workshop that’s part of the lead-up to the annual Kingston Blooms gardening competition.

The “Achieving Weather Resilient Gardens” workshop is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Rona Hall at the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.

These speakers will help you become wiser with your water use, which may help you win the new “water wise” Kingston Blooms category, sponsored by Utilities Kingston:

  • Steve Sottile, Conservation Officer with Utilities Kingston
  • Anne Maxwell, Garden Innovations
  • Paul Vanden Engle, Western Landscape Services

Everyone is invited to attend with a donation to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. Individuals who register their front garden for the Kingston Blooms Front Garden Competition at this seminar will receive a ballot to win a rain barrel courtesy of Kingston Blooms and Utilities Kingston.
