Hydro One has advised Utilities Kingston and the City of Kingston that a planned power outage will take place on Sunday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will affect approximately 3,400 Hydro One customers in the Township of Loyalist, including Amherstview as well as Hydro One customers in Kingston. Utilities Kingston's electricity customers are not affected.

The Hydro One outage is to allow crews perform scheduled maintenance and complete upgrades to ensure a safe and reliable supply of electricity, including replacing 10 poles in the area and completing maintenance work at our Gardiner Transmission Station.
