Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for natural gas commodity, transportation and storage effective November 1, 2013:

• The commodity price for natural gas applicable to Utilities Kingston’s system gas customers will decrease -$0.0188 per cubic metre to $0.1672 per cubic metre.
• The transportation and storage price for natural gas will decrease -$0.0068 per cubic metre to $0.1077 per cubic metre.

The overall effect of these price changes will decrease a typical residential bill (3,100 cubic metres annually) by an estimated -$79 annually.

A copy of the new natural gas rate schedule effective November 1, 2013 will be available from our gas rate page by Nov 1. The next quarterly review will be for February 1, 2014 implementation.
