Authorized functions – who can do what
The following table shows what professionals are authorized to perform specific functions as part of the Cross Connect Control Program (CCCP), as per CSA B64.10, 2011.
Notes
- BPD - an abbreviation for Backflow Prevention Device
- a Tester’s Licence is required to perform each of these functions
- Fire Protection Systems, Lawn Sprinkler Systems, and Heating and Cooling systems have different requirements for the professionals authorized to perform CCCP functions compared to other systems
- Utilities Kingston maintains a list of certified testers which includes the functions they are authorized to perform
