Utilities Kingston is searching for a new program manager and is currently not accepting applications to the Preventative Plumbing Program. Our goal is to have a new program manager in place by the fall of 2019.
- If you’ve already submitted an application (but not received a home visit), we’re placing it on hold. Once the manager is in place, the individual will review your application and then contact you to set up a home visit appointment and give you more details.
- If you’ve already completed a home visit with our program manager, you can carry forward with obtaining quotes from qualified and licensed contractors for the eligible works, picking a contractor and getting the work done. Once the work is complete, email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a follow up visit.
Our apologies for the inconvenience. Please be assured we’re working to get a new program manager on board as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can view information about the program above (including answers to frequently asked questions) and Flood Facts to protect your property from basement.
This program provides financial assistance to homeowners who are considering undertaking work on their own home to reduce the risk of sewage backup.
