Utilities Kingston is proud to partner with Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator to promote Save on Energy programs to its customers.

Save on Energy offers a variety of energy-saving programs, as well as free tips, articles and resources for residential consumers across Ontario. Whether you want to improve your home comfort, get rewarded for being energy-efficient or save on your energy costs, there is a program for you:

• Peak Perks: Get a $75 reward when you opt in to automated adjustments of your smart thermostat when electricity demand is high on summer weekdays.
• Energy Affordability Program: Income-qualified Ontarians can receive free energy-saving upgrades or energy-saving kits.
• Home Renovation Savings: Get rebates for energy-efficient home upgrades, including insulation, smart thermostats, heat pumps, electric appliances, windows and solar panels.

• Energy Performance Program: Pay-for-performance rewards for making changes that increase energy savings over time, reduce your operating costs and improve your productivity.
• Expanded Energy Management Program: Get funding to hire and train your own energy management team to help maximize energy performance and increase competitiveness.
• XLerate Program: Get up to $15 million for large-scale energy efficiency projects with a simple pay-for-performance model for industrial, municipal, institutional, and healthcare sectors.
