Kingston Hydro customers in the Valleyview and Grenville Park areas listed below will be affected by a planned power outage on Thursday, July 28 to accommodate installation of a new hydro pole.
Customers in these areas will experience an 5 hour outage starting at 7 a.m.:
- Portsmouth Avenue between Howard and Fairview
- Howard Crescent
- Smithfield Crescent
- Hawthorne Avenue
- Valleyview Drive
- Florence Street
- Sherwood Drive
- Grosvenor Court
The alternate date for this planned outage is Friday, July 29.
This power outage is necessary to allow workers to install a new hydro pole and transfer the overhead lines on Portsmouth Avenue, as part of electrical infrastructure improvements in the area, on behalf of your electrical distributor Kingston Hydro.
