Utilities Kingston has released the 2011 annual reports on drinking water quality. These reports are for the Kingston Central Water Plant (serving most areas east of Little Cataraqui Creek) and the Kingston West Water Treatment Facility (serving areas west of Little Cataraqui Creek) and the Cana Well system (in the former Pittsburgh Township). The reports are prepared in response to Operation Clean Water, an initiative of Ontario's Ministry of the Environment to ensure high quality drinking water for the residents of Ontario.
Bathroom use accounts for about 65 percent of the water used inside the home
Check regularly for any leaks and fix them. Most common bathroom leaks are found in faucets and in and around toilets
