Bayridge Drive Trunk Watermain
Utilities Kingston has completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the Bayridge Drive Trunk Watermain. The recommended watermain route (Option A) will extend west along Coverdale Drive to the access road, north along an existing trail, extend under Bath Road and the CN Mainline, and connect to the existing watermains at Bayridge Drive and Forest Hill Drive East. The watermain is proposed to be 900 mm in diameter.
This project is being planned under the Schedule B of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment framework. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice, and the receipt of necessary approvals, Utilities Kingston intends to proceed with the design and construction of this project.

Comments should be provided to Utilities Kingston on the proposal within 30 calendar days from the date of this Notice. Comments should be directed in writing to:

If concerns arise regarding this project, please contact the individuals indicated below. If an issue arises that cannot be resolved through discussion with Utilities Kingston, a person or party may request that the Minister of the Environment make an order for the project to comply with Part II of the Environmental Assessment Act (referred to as a Part II Order), which addresses individual environmental assessment. Requests must be received by the Minister at the address below within 30 calendar days of this Notice (i.e. comments are due before November 25, 2011). A copy of the request must also be sent to Utilities Kingston. If no request is received within 30 calendar days of this Notice, Utilities Kingston will be permitted proceed to design and construction as outlined in the Project File.
