Utilities Kingston has reviewed the rates for the natural gas commodity, transportation and storage effective May 1, 2016.

Effective May 1, 2016:

• the commodity price for natural gas will decrease -$0.0107 per cubic metre to $0.1285 per cubic metre, and
• the transportation and storage price for natural gas will increase $0.0075 per cubic metre to $0.1156 per cubic metre.

The overall effect of this price change will decrease a typical residential bill (2300 cubic metres annually) by an estimated -$7.36 annually.
